BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - American Sports Network (ASN) has announced its Conference USA Baseball television schedule for the 2015 season, which will kick off on March 22 when UAB hosts Marshall at Regions Field.
The Sunday meeting vs. the Thundering Herd, now set for a 12 p.m. CT first pitch, is one of 11 regular season Conference USA games set to appear nationally on the syndicated network.
UAB now has two games scheduled for TV, as the contest vs. Alabama on April 14 (6:30 p.m.) at the Hoover Met will be televised live on the SEC Network.
The Blazers open the 2015 slate this weekend as they host Western Michigan for a three-game set at Regions Field.
American Sports Network (ASN) is a collegiate sports initiative owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. that airs C-USA Football, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball games on television stations throughout the nation. Sinclair, the largest and one of the most diversified television broadcasters in the country, owns and operates, programs and provides sales services to 162 television stations in 78 markets, reaching approximately 39% of U.S. television households and affiliated with all the major broadcast networks.
