BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Junior Morgan Key-Adams represented UAB women’s soccer in postseason accolades as the midfielder was named to the All-Conference USA squad, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Key-Adams was selected to the All-Conference USA Third Team after serving as one of the Blazers’ top offensive weapons throughout the 2015 season.
The midfielder appeared in 15 of UAB’s 17 matches this season. Key-Adams totaled over 1200 minutes on the pitch, the second-most minutes by any offensive player on the Blazers’ squad this season.
The Franklin, Tenn., native finished second on the squad in shots with 25. Eleven of the midfielder’s shots landed on goal, the third-highest mark on the team, to record a .440 shots on goal percentage.
The midfielder played a critical piece in the UAB offense, closing the season tied for the team lead in assists with two, the most in a single season in her career.
Totaling two points, Key-Adams led all of UAB’s juniors in that category.
Twice this season, Key-Adams tied her career high in shots in a single game, tallying four shots against Mercer (Sept. 13) and North Texas (Sept. 18).
