BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- UAB student-athletes' pride and determination are blazing a trail of success in the classroom as well as their sports as they wrapped up an excellent performance in the 2014 spring term.

Along with 194 Blazers earning a 3.0 for the term, 13 UAB teams earned a team grade point average above 3.0. Women's Golf took top honors with a 3.83 team GPA and all student-athletes combined for a 3.02 GPA for the spring semester.

Overall, 43 students representing 14 different teams achieved a perfect 4.0. All combined UAB student-athletes have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 and 46 earned their degrees this past term.
