UAB Women's Soccer vs. FIU Cancelled

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB women’s soccer game that was set for Saturday against FIU has been cancelled. The match would not have impacted the league standings, thus the teams agreed not to play.
With the cancellation, Thursday’s 2-0 loss against Rice marked the end of the Blazers’ season. UAB finished the year 5-10-2 and 2-5-2 in Conference USA.
The Blazers were originally slated to host the Panthers on Oct. 10, but the contest was postponed due to severe weather in the area.
