10th Annual UAB Athletics Auction Sold Out

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB Athletics Department and Blazer Boosters will be hosting the 10th Annual UAB Athletics Auction benefiting student-athlete scholarships this Friday, August 16 at the UAB National Alumni Society House. 


UAB Athletics is excited to announce that the auction is sold out for the first time in event history and would like to thank Blazer fans that have made this milestone possible.
This Friday's festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, a silent auction, and live music provided by the UAB Faculty Jazz Combo. The program and live auction will follow at 7 p.m.
UAB Softball Head Coach Marla Townsend will be the guest speaker. James Spann, Chief Meteorologist at ABC 33/40, will serve as the auctioneer, and David Crane, the Voice of the Blazers, will be the event emcee.
Several UAB head coaches will be in attendance and complimentary valet parking will be available for all attendees.
