“There was a double play we should have been able to turn in the first and they ended up scoring three runs after that. Then they hit a homer in the second, to put us down 4-0, so we were scrambling from behind.”
Jacob Campbell led off the second with a solo homer and the Cougars would add two runs in the fourth, seventh and eighth along with a single run in the sixth.
Kyle Survance led the UH attack, going 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI. Frankie Ratcliff added three hits in the victory.
