UAB Ranked No. 15/25 In The Latest Polls

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men’s soccer team appeared in each of the major national polls for the 11th straight week. UAB is currently ranked No. 15 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll and No. 25 in the Soccer America Rankings.
The Blazers moved up two spots in the coaches’ poll from last week and is No. 25 in the media rankings for the second consecutive week. Last week, UAB wrapped up its regular season with a 2-1 victory at Conference USA foe Marshall on Friday, Nov. 8.
For the fifth week in-a-row, UAB owns the highest scoring offense in the country. The Blazers are scoring at a clip of 2.47 goals per game. This marks the sixth time in 2013 that UAB has had the top attack in the nation.
UAB is back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the 2013 Conference USA Tournament. The third-seeded Blazers will take on sixth-seeded Charlotte at 7 p.m. CT in Charlotte, N.C.
