BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will begin fall practice Friday afternoon at Young Memorial Field. Practice is open to the public and begins at 1 p.m.

UAB is coming off a 23-36 campaign in 2013. Last season, the Blazers knocked off a nationally ranked Rice team, defeated Alabama for the fourth consecutive time, and had a first-team All-Conference USA honoree. The Green and Gold return a plethora of talent from last year's squad and welcome a crop of newcomers.
