GULF SHORES, Ala. --- UAB women's golf completed the first round of the UAB Fall Beach Blast on Monday. The Blazers are currently in 12th place at the event.
UAB, which shot a 36-over par 324 on the day, was paced by Margaret Yeh. The Blazer junior fired a six-over par 78 and is currently in 41st place.
UAB senior Caitlin Watts fired an eight-over par 80 to place 50th going into Tuesday's final round.
Austin Peay leads the 12-team field after a seven-over par 295 team total on Monday.
Action begins with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start on Tuesday.
