Adeniran Named C-USA Offensive POTW

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB senior midfielder Moses Adeniran was recognized as the Conference USA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. This marks the third time that a member of the UAB men’s soccer has taken home C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honors this season.
Adeniran scored the game-winning goal on the road against Tulsa on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Houston, Texas native received a pass from redshirt senior midfielder Fatai Alabi and finished far-post past the Tulsa keeper. It marked his first goal of the year and first since 2011.
On the season, Adeniran has one goal and two assists. The senior midfielder tallied helpers against High Point and Florida Atlantic.
UAB returns to West Campus Field at 5:30pm on Friday, Oct. 25 when it hosts the College of Charleston.
