Let's SAAC Hunger Food Drive Going On This Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB student-athletes are taking part in Conference USA's Let's SAAC Hunger initiative at all Blazer home events this week.
Fans are encouraged to bring canned foods or monetary donations (all money will go toward purchasing canned food) to UAB athletic events, where UAB athletes from the student-athlete advisory committee will be collecting donations.
Student-athletes will be at various events, including Friday's Hoops on the Haasephalt and UAB's home football game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday at 2 p.m.
UAB student-athletes participating in the event will compete against other schools from around Conference USA with all donations at UAB going to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
