UAB Men's Soccer No. 13/23 In Latest Polls

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men’s soccer team is currently ranked No. 13/23 in the country in the latest release of the two major national polls, as announced on Tuesday. UAB is No. 13 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll, while the team is No. 23 in the Soccer America Rankings.
This marks the seventh straight week the Blazers have appeared in the national polls. In addition, UAB is currently the top-ranked team in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Midwest Region Poll. It marks the first time in 2013 that Green and Gold are the No. 1 squad in their region outright. Last week, UAB and Creighton were tied for the top spot.
The Blazers are back in action on Wednesday night when they host Conference USA foe FIU. The match is slated to start at 7 p.m. at West Campus Field.
