UAB Recognizes Student-Athletes on National Student-Athlete Day

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB Athletic Department is participating in National Student-Athlete Day on Friday, April 6 by recognizing its student-athletes that have excelled athletically and academically, in addition to their contributions to the community.
Each year, the National Consortium for Academics and Sports, along with the Northeastern University Center for the Study of Sport in Society, partners with the NCAA to recognize National Student-Athlete Day.
This year, UAB is again honoring student-athletes who not only strive for excellence in their sport, but also maintain excellence in the classroom and have made significant contributions to the community.
