BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will be back in action Tuesday when the Blazers play host to in-state foe Troy at George Ward Park. The match is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
UAB will be playing its first home match in more than two weeks. The Blazers (5-2) saw their four-match win streak come to an end on Sunday with a tight 4-3 loss at Vanderbilt. The match was tied at 3-3 and went to a third set at the No. 2 singles position before the Commodores prevailed.
The Blazers were 4-3 winners over the Trojans last season.
Troy will come into the match with a 1-4 record. The Trojans will be playing their first match since defeating Kennesaw State (7-0) on Feb. 12. Troy had two matches postponed on Sunday (vs. Alabama State and Jacksonville State) due to inclement weather.
Admission is free to Tuesday's match.
