Blazer Football Spring Caravan Dates Announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB head football coach Garrick McGee will headline the Blazer Football Spring Caravan events scheduled for various Birmingham-area communities in the coming weeks.
The spring receptions, sponsored by the UAB National Alumni Society, are open to the public and free of charge.
The first of the receptions will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Trussville Civic Center from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Coach McGee, named as the Blazers' new head coach in December, will speak to alumni, fans and community members at each of the events.
Athletic Director Brian Mackin and David Crane, the Voice of the Blazers, are also scheduled to be at most of the caravan events and make remarks.
Light refreshments will be served.
