Thursday's UAB Baseball Game At Utah Cancelled By Rain

SALT LAKE CITY -- The UAB baseball team's series opener Thursday at Utah has been cancelled because of steady rain in the area. The game will not be made up.

The teams are still scheduled to play Friday and Saturday at Spring Mobile Park. Both games are slated to begin at 12 p.m. MT (1 p.m. CT).

The Blazers (27-25) and Utes (27-18) are meeting for the first time ever in baseball this weekend. It is the final regular season series for both teams and the final action for UAB before next week's Conference USA Championship in Pearl, Miss.
