Blazers Recognize National STUDENT-Athlete Day

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Wednesday marks the 24th celebration of National Student-Athlete Day. Each year, the National Consortium for Academics and Sports and the Northeastern University Center for the Study of Sport in Society partner with the NCAA to recognize National Student-Athlete Day.
This special day honors student-athletes who have achieved excellence in academics and athletics, while having made significant contributions to their schools and communities. This year, UAB has again committed to a week of activities with students, student-athletes and staff both at UAB and in the community.
As a part of this national celebration, UAB chose to honor selected student-athletes that are striving to achieve excellence in academics and athletics, as well as making significant contributions to the community.
