BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB baseball team's home game against Alabama State scheduled for Wednesday night has been called off because of the forecast for severe weather.
No decision regarding a possible make-up date has been made at this time.
The Blazers, who picked up a 4-3 win over Troy on Tuesday night, now turn their attention to a three-game Conference USA series this weekend at Tulane. Friday's series opener is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT at Turchin Stadium.
