UAB To Complete Game With Mississippi State Wednesday Night

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB baseball team will complete its halted game with Mississippi State at 6 p.m. CT Wednesday at Young Memorial Field.
The game was started on March 9 but was stopped by rain in the sixth inning. UAB will have a 4-3 lead when the game resumes. Mississippi State will have runners at first and second base with no outs in the top of the sixth.
Admission will be free for the completion of the game.
UAB is now 19-13 on the season after posting a 5-3 win over Kennesaw State Tuesday night to run its home record to 14-2 this spring. Mississippi State is 21-11 on the year after dropping two of three games to No. 4 Florida last weekend.
