Men's Tennis Team Plays Host To Drake Monday Afternoon

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will be back in action on Monday, March 14 when the Blazers play host to the Drake Bulldogs at the Lakeshore Tennis Center. The match is set for 2:00 p.m. CT.
UAB is playing only its second match since Feb. 22 and comes into the match with a 3-4 record. The Blazers' home match against Jacksonville State last Wednesday was postponed due to inclement weather.
UAB's last action came on March 4 when the Blazers dropped a 4-3 decision to crosstown foe Samford.
Drake will make the trip to Birmingham riding a three-game win streak. The Bulldogs defeated Saint Louis on Saturday, 4-0, to post their third-consecutive victory and improve their record on the season to 9-2.
Following the match with Drake, UAB will then look ahead to this weekend and the San Diego Invitational in San Diego, Calif. The Blazers will play three matches in three days while in southern California.
