Men's Tennis Match With North Alabama Tuesday Postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB home men's tennis match with North Alabama scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed due to inclement weather that is expected in the area.
Blazers' head coach Derek Tarr said he hopes the two teams will be able to reschedule the match, possibly as early as next week.
Instead of opening its 2011 dual match schedule Tuesday against the Lions, UAB will now begin its spring slate this weekend at Tulsa, Okla. with a pair of matches against ranked teams.
The Blazers will play at No. 35 Tulsa on Friday, Feb. 4 (6 p.m.) before taking on Big 12 foe and No. 55-ranked Oklahoma State on Saturday (1 p.m.), also in Tulsa.
