Blazers To Host Signing Day Event Wednesday, Feb. 2

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Blazer fans are invited to join head coach Neil Callaway and the football coaching staff on Wednesday, Feb. 2 as the coaches discuss the 2011 UAB recruiting class.
The event will be held in the Green & Gold Room in Bartow Arena and will start at 5:00 p.m. The Blazer men's basketball team will play host to Conference USA rival Southern Miss at 7:00 p.m. following the Signing Day function.
Admission to the event is $15.00 which includes an upper level reserved ticket to the UAB/Southern Miss game, a pre-game meal, and an inside look into the Blazers' 2011 football signing class.
5:00 p.m. - Signing Day Social and dinner in the Green & Gold Room
7:00 p.m. - UAB Basketball vs. Southern Miss

For those that already have tickets to the Southern Miss game on February 2nd, and would like to attend the Signing Day Social, you can pre-order tickets for $5.00 by calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office. Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door. Blazer Club members that give at the required level for men's basketball hospitality access will receive free admission.
