UAB Athletics To Hold 7th Annual Dinner & Live Auction

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB Athletics Department will hold its 7th Annual Dinner & Live Auction later this month to raise funds for Blazer student-athlete scholarships.
The event will be held Sunday, Aug. 22 at Park Lane by Kathy G., located at 2117 Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook.
The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception. Dinner and the live auction will follow at 6:30.
Tickets are $250 per person and can be purchased by calling Carlin Everts in the UAB Blazer Boosters office at 205-996-9969.
Among the items that will be available in the auction:
Two tickets to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Final Four
Week Vacation for up to six people at Abaco Island, Bahamas
Trip for two with the team to the UAB vs. Tennessee Football Game on September 25, 2010
