Blazers remain 10th After Day Two at C-USA Championship

C-USA Championship Second Round Results
HATTIESBURG, Miss. --The UAB women's golf team remained in 10th place after round two of the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship on Monday at Canebrake Golf Club. Junior Carolyn Cochran shot a 76 in the second round to bring her 36-hole total to 153 heading into the final day.
Tulane remains in first place with a score of 573, while East Carolina took over second after carding a 288 in the second round to bring its total to 584. Memphis rounds out the top three with a score of 593.
Tulane's Ashley McKenney took over sole possession of first place after shooting a 68 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 138. ECU's Abby Bools has recorded a 141 through the first two rounds, while Tulsa's Sarah Elliot is not far behind with a 142.
UAB finished the day with a 36-hole total of 642, improving its second round score by 18 strokes from day one. Cochran is currently in 30th, while freshman Ana Martin is tied for 38th with a score of 157. Martin's 76 in the second round was her best of the season. Junior Jaime Brabb shot a 79 in the second round to bring her total to 162, while junior Lindsay Taylor and freshman Sloan Davis each have a 172 heading into the final day.
The tournament wraps up on Tuesday with round three teeing off at 8 a.m.
