Blazer Baseball To Hold Intrasquads As Fall Practice Continues

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB baseball team will hold its first intrasquad scrimmage of fall practice on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 1:45 p.m. at Young Memorial Field.
The controlled situation scrimmage will feature the UAB veterans versus the newcomers. It will be the first chance to see members of the Blazers' highly rated recruiting class in action.
UAB's fall scrimmages and practices are always open to the public. The team will scrimmage two more times this week with an intrasquad on Friday, Oct. 8 at 1:45 p.m. and a practice/intrasquad session on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m.
The Blazers started their fall practice period last Friday and will work out six days a week through Nov. 6 in preparation for the upcoming 2011 season.
