UAB To Complete Baseball Game With Alabama April 13

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB and Alabama will resume their halted baseball game on Monday, April 13 at 4 p.m. (CT) at Young Memorial Field.
The Blazers and Crimson Tide started the game March 25 at Regions Park and played into the sixth inning before the action was stopped because of heavy rain. The teams will pick the game up in the top of the sixth with the score tied 2-2 and Alabama at the plate.
UAB will not charge admission for the resumed game.
In a previously announced change to the schedule, UAB has eliminated its April 8 game with Alabama A&M and will instead play a doubleheader with the Bulldogs at Young Memorial Field on April 14. Game one of that doubleheader is scheduled for a 3 p.m. (CT) first pitch.
