Friday's Magic City Classic Games Canceled

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Three softball games scheduled for the first day of the Magic City Classic at Spain Park High School have been canceled.
The UAB-Alabama State and the Samford-Northern Illinois games at 3:30 p.m. CT will not be played due to inclement weather. The 5:45 p.m. CT contest between Northern Illinois and Pittsburgh has also been called off.
Weather pending, the schools are hoping to begin tournament play on Saturday.
The location of the tournament has been chaged from Spain Park High School to the Shea Brothers Softball Complex in Irondale, Ala.
