Ten Blazer Student-Athletes Inducted In Chi Alpha Sigma

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Ten UAB student-athletes have been inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society.
The 10 Blazers were inducted into the Alabama Alpha chapter for Fall, 2009, into the honor society that was established to recognize student-athletes for their outstanding scholarship, athletic achievements and excellent character and citizenship.
To be eligible for membership, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better, have lettered in their sport and be recommended by their coach and athletic advisor.
