UAB, ISP Announce Radio Schedule For Upcoming Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- With both the UAB men's basketball and football teams in action during the upcoming weekend, the Blazers ISP Sports Network has announced the radio lineup for all the contests.
Each game will air live on local stations when the men's basketball team opens its 2009-10 season this weekend at the Hispanic College Fund Classic in Kent, Ohio (Nov. 13-15), while the football team will travel to take on Conference USA rival Memphis at Noon CT on Saturday in the `Battle For The Bones'.
The three men's basketball games will air on three different stations over the weekend. UAB's season-opener against Green Bay on Friday at 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. CT) can be heard live WSPZ-AM 690. Saturday's matchup with tournament host Kent State will air on WWMM-FM 100.5 FM at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT), while Sunday's finale against crosstown foe Samford will be heard on the flagship station for men's hoops, WUHT-FM 107.7 at 2 p.m. ET (1 p.m. CT). The pregame show for all three men's basketball contests will air 30 minutes prior to tipoff.
Meanwhile, the UAB football game at Memphis will air on flagship station WUHT-FM 107.7. The pregame show for that contest will air at 10:30 a.m.
