32 Blazers Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal

IRVING, Texas - UAB has a total of 32 student-athletes that have received the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal for the 2007-08 academic year. The Blazers have more than doubled their number of Academic Medal winners from a year ago (15). The medals are given to C-USA student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above during the academic year.
In all, 334 C-USA student-athletes have earned the league's Commissioner's Academic Medal during the year.
