UAB Launches New Web Site

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB Athletic Department is pleased to announce the re-launch of uabsports.com, the official web site of UAB athletics.
The latest version of the site offers Blazer fans an enhanced package of features and applications that will bring them even closer to their favorite teams and players.
"This re-launch of uabsports.com is a great step in enhancing our image and we're excited about offering our fans the latest in web coverage," said Brian Mackin, UAB's Director of Athletics. "This site is very important to us because it is such a great communication tool. It is where our fans come for news, it's where they can come to watch our teams compete, and where they can purchase tickets to our games."
The new design will feature a streamlined navigation, new graphics and much more interactive content like player and coach blogs, photo galleries, and exclusive audio and video content that will include feature stories on UAB teams and student-athletes as well as live streaming of games, press conferences and coaches shows.
The new uabsports.com launches after more than a year of redesigning between UAB and CSTV. The CSTV online division operates uabsports.com as part of its web network that includes nearly 250 official athletic sites.
