Blazers to Hold Fall Showcase Camp on Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB baseball program will hold its Fall Showcase Camp at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field on Saturday, Sept. 30th. The camp is open to all High School athletes in the graduating classes of 2006-2009. The camp will begin at 10 a.m. with registration opening at 9 a.m.
At the camp, players will be put through a talent evaluation showcase as well as placed on teams to play in a live game atmosphere for scouts. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their talents for the UAB coaching staff and other college coaches, in addition to professional scouts that will be on hand.
The cost of the camp is just $75 and each participant will be eligible to receive three complimentary tickets to the UAB football game against Troy at 6 p.m. at Legion Field, Saturday night.
