Blazer Golfers Finish Second Round At Seminole

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Garrett Osborn and Clark Brown shot even par 72s on Monday to pace UAB's men's golf efforts at the 2006 Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State. The Blazers trimmed a stroke off their first round team score, but stand 13th in the field with a round to play.
Osborn has carded rounds of 75-72 for a 36-hole score of 147 to stand in a tie for 31st place overall. Brown (78-72=150) is tied for 45th in the field. Kyle Sapp (75-80=155), Zack Sucher (77-78=155) and Josh Thompson (76-82=158) also competed for the Blazers.
East Tennesse State held on to a five shot lead after Monday's round. Coastal Carolina is in second place. The Chanticleer's Dustin Johnson has rounds of 66-67 for an 11-under par 133 for the individual lead.
The three-day, 54-hole tourament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday at the par-72, 6,635-yard Eagles Landing Golf Course.
