Blazer Baseball Postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The first-ever meeting between the UAB Blazers and the Kennesaw State Owls was postponed on Wednesday due to inclement weather. The game was rescheduled to March 29th at 6 p.m.
The Blazers will take to the road this weekend, travelling to Dothan, Ala., to play in the Wiregrass Classic. UAB will join Michigan, South Alabama and Troy in the weekend tournament. Head coach Larry Giangrosso's squad opens play on Friday, as they will take on the Michigan Wolverines at 2 p.m.
Saturday, the Blazers will match up against South Alabama, also set for a 2 p.m. start. On Sunday, UAB plays host Troy at 2 p.m. For exclusive coverage of UAB baseball, check www.uabsports.com.
