UAB Baseball Concludes Fall Practice this Week

BIMRINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will conclude its 23 days of fall practice with a pair of intrasquad scrimmages this week. The Blazers will hold "Green vs. Gold" games on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. Both games will be open to the public at Young Memorial Field.

Head coach Brian Shoop said he has been very pleased with his teams work in their fall camp and said this weeks games will be played for "winter bragging rights".

The Blazers roster includes several returnees, in addition to 14 newcomers. The team has announced one series this season at Arizona State and the remainder of the 2007 schedule to be announced in the coming weeks.
