LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The UAB baseball team's series opener at Louisville on Thursday was suspended due to inclement weather after four innings. The Blazers and Cardinals sat through a 35-minute rain delay after the top of the first inning and more severe thunderstorms in the area caused the game to be postponed until Friday.
The teams will resume play at 4 p.m. on Friday at Patterson Stadium with Louisville leading 5-4 in the top of the fifth inning. Game two between the Blazers and Cardinals will begin following the conclusion of game one at approximately 6 p.m.
