Head Coach Bob Huggins:
"I'm relieved. This time of the year, you just have to try to win, find a way to win."
On UAB:
"They made some hard plays. They made a great, great effort. You have to take your hat off to them. These guys made plays against us that haven't been made all year.
"We've got four more regular season games and hopefully we can play as long as possible in March."
On Jihad Muhammad's play
"He's (Muhammad) got to get better, just like everyone else. He can't hang his head and we can't hang our heads. It wasn't just Jihad turning it over."
UAB Quotes:
Head Coach Mike Anderson:
"It wasn't a thing of beauty and that's how we like it. We did a lot of good things. They are very good at home. You have to know that there is going to be some physical play and aggressiveness and I think our guys matched that.
"I thought the biggest discrepancy was at the free throw line. I think they gutted it out and that's what good teams do: they find ways to win."
On UC's rebounding performance
"We were going to come out and pressure their guards. We work on rebounding just like everybody else does. That's their forte, attacking the glass. That kind of game suits them. We like to get up into the open court."
