On using 11 players:
"First of all, we got a chance to play a lot of guys tonight. That really gave us the opportunity to assess some things."
On the 83-41 victory:
"Overall, we got something good out of it. We finally played someone other than ourselves."
On UAB's rebounding:
"I thought we could have done a better job on the glass. But I have to give credit to West Alabama. They didn't stop playing. This game will help us and help them as well."
On the play of Frank Holmes:
"Frank is more seasoned now and getting the opportunity to play some quality minutes. Now that he's playing more, he showing a sense of urgency. He is improving and has to continue to play well for us."
On the new UAB players:
"Its important for those guys to get their first minutes. Its all about getting into a rhythm."
