UAB Athletics Announces Fan Day 2004

Birmingham, Ala. - Fan Day 2004 is scheduled for Friday, August 20, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This year the Blazers have added activities to this annual event to help better prepare fans for the upcoming football season. A Green & Gold football scrimmage will begin at 5:00 p.m. at West Campus Field, and food and inflatable games will be available for Blazer fans of all ages. Coca Cola will provide soft drinks while supplies last. The UAB Ticket Office will be on hand to sell Blazer football season ticket packages and the Blazer Bookstore will be selling UAB apparel and merchandise. Immediately following the scrimmage, fans will be able to meet the 2004 Blazers during a photo and autograph session that will begin at 7:00 p.m. All fans who attend the autograph session will receive a free 2004 UAB football schedule poster for the players to sign. Fan Day was moved to Friday from its customary Saturday time slot to incorporate the live scrimmage into the evening's festivities. Admission and parking for the event are free. Fan Day Timeline
