Blazers Play At Samford Tuesday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team travels to face cross-town foe Samford Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Griffin Field.
UAB (25-26, 11-15 Conference USA) suffered an 8-3 loss to USF in C-USA play last Sunday at Young Memorial Field in its last outing. USF took two games out of the three-game series with the Blazers.
Samford (21-29, 13-11 Ohio Valley Conference) is coming off a three-game series sweep of Tennessee-Martin over the weekend at Griffin Field.
UAB then travels to Cincinnati for a three-game Conference USA series against the Bearcats Thursday-Saturday in the final weekend of C-USA play. Thursday and Friday, the teams meet at 7:30 p.m. (ET) and Saturday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. (ET).
All three games of the UAB-Cincinnati series will be broadcast live via the world wide web on the Blazers' official athletics website, www.uabsports.com.
