Blazers To Host Cross-Town Foe Samford Tuesday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will host cross-town foe Samford Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Young Memorial Field.
UAB (10-2) is currently on a three-game winning streak and coming off a three-game sweep of Toledo last weekend at Young Memorial Field. The Blazers currently place second in the Conference USA standings.
Samford (0-10) is coming off a 12-10 loss at Troy State last Sunday in the Wiregrass Classic hosted by the Trojans.
This weekend, UAB will host a three-game series with Purdue at Young Memorial Field. All three games will be broadcast via the world wide web on the Blazers' official athletics website, www.uabsports.com. UAB's C-USA opening series against Louisville, March 19-21, will also be broadcast on the web.
Tickets to Tuesday's game are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12, children 2 and under are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
