Blazers To Open Season At Alabama State

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will open its season Tuesday in Montgomery at Paterson Field as the Blazers take on Alabama State. The game, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., has been moved to noon.
UAB holds a 15-1 series edge over the Hornets, including a four-game winning streak in Montgomery.
UAB returns to Young Memorial Field Friday for its home opener against Murray State. The Blazers and Thoroughbreds square off at 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
