Baseball Team's Game Against Jacksonville State Postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team's game against Jacksonville State, scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Young Memorial Field, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the area. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Young Memorial Field.
UAB (23-23, 8-15 Conference USA) is coming off a 6-5 victory over Charlotte in game two of a doubleheader last Saturday at Young Memorial Field. The Blazers took two games out of the three-game set with the 49ers as UAB also won the Friday night contest 8-3. The Blazers rank second in Conference USA in opposing batting average (.255) and stolen bases (75), and are tied for third in runners picked off (9).
Jacksonville State (25-23, 14-13 Atlantic Sun) is coming off a 10-3 victory over Louisiana-Monroe last Sunday in Monroe. The Gamecocks took two games out of the three-game set with the Indians.
Tickets for Wednesday's game are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12, children 2 and under are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
