Baseball Team To Host Eastern Illinois, Marshall and Kentucky

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball will host Eastern Illinois, Marshall and Kentucky over the weekend at Young Memorial Field.

Friday, UAB will take on Eastern Illinois (0-2) at 6 p.m. in the second game of the day. Kentucky (3-3) and Marshall (2-3) will square off at 2 p.m. in the day's first action. Saturday, Kentucky and Eastern Illinois will meet at 2 p.m. and UAB will take on Marshall at 6 p.m. Marshall and Eastern Illinois face off Sunday in the day's first game at 11 a.m. and UAB and Kentucky will meet in the final game of the day at 2 p.m.

The Blazers are 10-0 and off to the best start in school history. The team is coming off a 2-1 victory over cross-town rival Samford last Thursday at Young Memorial Field.

Tickets for each day are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 2-12, children under 2 are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
