Men's Soccer Announces Elite Players Camp

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB head men's soccer coach Mike Getman announced the dates of its Elite Players camp and Winter goalkeeping camp. The two camps will take place Jan. 9-11 on West Campus Field and is a first-come, first-serve basis.
The camps are designed for high-level players to help prepare for the upcoming season. The UAB coaching staff will put players through training sessions, just like a college preseason. This three day mini camp will focus on attacking skills and tactics to give a player and his team the edge. All players are expected to be in good shape and prepared for a vigorous weekend of activity.
The Dave Giffard Goalkeeping Camp will run in conjunction with the Elite Players Camp.The goalkeeping camp is an intense weekend focused on technical and tactical goalkeeping training for goalkeepers of all ages.
Staff includes current college coaches, including Getman, UAB assistant coach David Giffard, as well as other collegiate coaches and former professional players
