Men's Golf Finishes 10th At Cleveland Golf Classic

WEST LAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - The UAB men?s golf team shot an 894 (300-299-295) to grab a 10th place finish at the 25th annual Cleveland Golf Classic held at Northranch Country Club and hosted by the University of Southern California.
Junior Graeme McDowell had the highest finish for UAB, as he tied for 17th, shooting a seven-over-par 220, 12 strokes behind individual tournament champion Brock Mackenzie of Washington.
USC won the tournament, Oregon and Washington tied for second, Fresno State was fourth, California fifth, New Mexico came in sixth, Stanford finished seventh, and Brigham Young and Pepperdine tied for eighth to round out the top 10.
UAB next travels to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the Seminole Intercollegiate March 11-12.
