Men's and Women's Basketball Teams Hosting Doubleheader

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.----- The UAB men's and women's basketball teams will host a doubleheader on Thursday, November 14 at Bartow Arena. The Lady Blazers will host Athletes in Action at 5:30 p.m., with the men's team taking the court against Montevallo at 8 p.m.

This will be the first exhibition game of the season for the Lady Blazers. On Sunday, November 17 at 5 p.m. they entertain the Nashville Stars. The UAB women start the regular season on Tuesday, November 26 when they take on Jacksonville State at 7 p.m. in Bartow Arena.

Montevallo is the second and final exhibition game for the men's team. The Blazers defeated VASDA USA, 119-84 on November 5. The Blazers begin their regular season on Friday, November 22 against Birmingham-Southern at 7 p.m. at Bartow Arena.
