Third Round Completed At NCAA Men's Golf Championship

DURHAM, N.C. - After the third round of play at the NCAA Men's Golf Championship, the Blazers are tied for 14th with an 886 tournament total. UAB shot a third-round 300 at the par-72, 7086-yard Duke University Golf Course in Durham, N.C.
Graeme McDowell leads the Blazers with 217 after shooting a third round 2-over par 74. McDowell is tied for 36th place while teammate Daniel Ozley shot a third-round 78 for a 220 total and a share of 38th place. Payton Osborn shot a 78 for 226 total putting him in a tie for 66th place. Craig Gordon and Drew Jones each shot 74 for the round placing Gordon in a tie for 72nd place with 227 and Jones in a tie for 78th place with 230.
Florida fired a third-round 277 to move into a tie for first with Arizona at 851. Clemson is in third with an 862 and Georgia Tech is in fourth at 863.
Nick Gilliam of Florida shot a third-round 66 to move into a share of the lead with Ricky Barnes of Arizona at 205. Jamie Elson of Augusta State is third with 208 and Chris Nallen of Arizona is fourth with 209.
The Blazers will take a 45-minute break before teeing off for the final round today.
