Women's Soccer Falls Late to Vanderbilt 1-0

Vanderbilt's Kat Carroll scored in the 84th minute of the match to lift the Commodores to a 1-0 win UAB in women's Soccer at Nashville, Tenn., Tuesday night.
The non-conference loss dropped UAB to 7-8 overall. Vanderbilt is 6-7.
UAB goalkeeper Lisa Nowoslawski kept the Blazers in the match recording 12 saves before allowing the late goal.
Carroll scored her goal on a header off a cross pass from Kelly Kulsrud. Carrol had seven of Vanderbilt's 17 shots.
UAB returns to Conference USA play when it hosts Memphis, Friday night at 7 p.m. at West Campus Field.
