Blazers in Third After First Two Rounds of Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON, Calif. - After two rounds of play at the Pacific Invitational, the UAB men's golf team sits in third place going into the final round on Tuesday. The team shot a total of 568 on the day, just eight strokes behind the leader San Diego State at 560.
Leading the way for the Blazers is sophomore Graeme McDowell who shot rounds of 69 and 71 for a 140 total. Tied for sixth, McDowell is four shots behind the leader J.R. Ruda of California who posted a 67 and 69 for a 136 total on the day.
Also in the top-ten for the Blazers is sophomore Daniel Ozley and junior Drew Jones, both tied for tenth spot with totals of 142.
Final round play will begin early Tuesday morning.
